If someone were to asking me what veggies are the best.. I would have to say it depends on the day! All veggies and fruits have vitamins and minerals so they are all good for you! Most have no fat, salt or additives if you eat them in their natural form. Most of them are quite easy to prepare if you keep the recipes simple. Boil potatoes until tender, drain them and sprinkle them with dill, lemon and a touch of olive oil. Bake sliced apples for 20 minutes and sprinkle them with cinnamon. Make a salad with cucumbers, radishes, spinach, cilantro and squeeze lemon and balsamic on top. Let the true flavour of the fruit or vegetable come out! My grandpa had a half acre garden when I was a child and I grew up nibbling fresh mint, peas, raspberries and strawberries straight from the garden. Enjoy food the way nature intended!
