Go bananas for bananas!


As a young girl, I didn't have a huge fondness for bananas unless they were banana popsicles, but on my journey to eat Natural, Convenient Food, they are a star! I use bananas in so many different recipes and often just for a quick easy snack. What could be easier than grabbing a banana when you are on the go! It's already wrapped in it's own peel and it's loaded with potassium. Bananas are also great in smoothies! I peel bananas, slice them up and put them in a container in the freezer! When I feel like something cold and sweet, I blend a frozen banana with a cup of almond milk and it tastes like a milk shake! Add a tablespoon of Cacao Powder if you want a chocolate milk shake flavour!
